Only a month!!!

Well, we are about a month away from our big reunion!  We hope you all are as excited as we are!  Just a few reminders about the reunion... We will be sending out your tickets, but it will be within the next two weeks.  You will not need them to get in the door, but you may want to bring them for your extra chance for prizes!  Also, tickets will be going up here shortly.  This is primarily due to the caterer charging extra for late ad-ins.  But, please... do not let that discourage you from attending!  We would love you all to still come!  We have had a great response and hope that you all are looking forward to this!  Lastly, if you have any questions about the reunion, please let us know!!  Can't wait to see you all!!

2 Months and Counting!

Well, we are about 2 months away from our first class reunion!  We hope you all are as excited as we are!  As just a little note, we are still looking for as many pictures from high school as you all can provide!  Please e-mail them to pghs.class.of.2002@gmail.com!

March Madness!

It's March Madness!!  Not just for you Basketball fans, but March just tends to be madness anyway!  We have a couple little updates for you all, so we'll just cut through the chase and get right to it! :)

1.  Tickets will be going up on March 31st to $30.00 per person.  Right now they are $25.00 per person.
2.  When you buy a ticket, you need to purchase one for both you and one for your guest.  Tickets are only good for one person, not for a couple.
3.  If you attended Pleasant Grove High School and were a Senior at any point during 2001-2002, YOU ARE INVITED!!! :)
4.  If you have a business and would like to help out with the reunion, you can contact Amy or Lindsay for more information.
5.  If you have pictures from High School that you would be willing to let us use, please send them to pghsclassof2002@hotmail.com

We want to thank you all for your participation!  It has taken a lot of time, money, and effort to plan this for you all, so we hope that you all can join us in this fun event!  As a reminder, your ticket is paying for the venue, the entertainment, and the food!  The committee is taking care of the rest of the costs.   We will have discounts on tickets periodically through the next few months and we will let you know when they will be, but keep in mind, they will never be cheaper than $25.00.  Also, your dinner will consist of a Steak Dinner or a Chicken Dinner.  For further meal descriptions, please check the menu section!

Venue, Menu, and More!

Well, we are on just a couple months away from this exciting reunion!  We hope you all are as excited as we are!  We've had our first contest, which turned out to be great!  Make sure you check each month for the up and coming contests!  There will be plenty of time to get more ticket discounts and win more prizes!

As for our exciting Reunion!!  We have confirmed the location!  Wahoo!!  So, here is a brief description of what we will be doing at the Reunion as well as what we will be having for dinner.  We will need to get a count of what you are planning on for the meal, so please let us know what you would like for your main dish when you purchase your tickets.  For those of you who have already purchased, we will send you an email asking your preference!

Where.... Our 10 Year Class Reunion will be held at Noah's in Lindon, Utah.  We will be renting out the entire lower portion of the building!  So.... that means we will have the main hall with music, dancing, and fun filled memory tables!  The Garden will be where your delicious dinner will be served!  We will have game rooms available for those of you would would like to play billiards,  ping-pong, wallyball, or would just like to sit and relax!  We have a surprise for you as well!  We don't want to give away all of our surprises!

When....  The Class Reunion will be July 21, 2012.  Doors will open at 6:00pm for you early birds!  Dinner will begin being served at 6:30pm and will continue to be served until 8:00pm.  Around 7:30pm we will be holding another surprise that I promise you will NOT want to miss!! And, you are welcome to stay as late as 10:00pm!!  After which, we apologize that you will need to take the party else where, seeing how we will no longer have the venue.

Menu...  We are sure that all of you are wondering what we will be serving!  Well, do we have a menu for you!  You have your choice of one of the following.
--Lime Chicken Breast, grilled to perfection!  Topped off with a Pineapple-Mango Chutney Salsa.
--Top Sirloin Steak, grilled to prefection!  Served with Chimchurri Sauce (Red Wine).
Both items will come with a salad, dinner roll, two sides, and a drink.  We will also have a fresh fruit display and a desert bar to satisfy that sweet tooth!

Who.... So this year, as a committee, we decided that we would just have an adult event.  Every class member is invited with one guest of their choice!  We will have events in the future in which your families will be invited to.

Price...  Tickets are $25 during the month of March.  Due to the vendors demands of paying our prices up front, we will be raising the price of tickets $5 every month.  We know a few of you do not think this is fair, but as does every event, the longer you wait, the more the price goes up.  But...  we don't want you to get discouraged from this!  We understand that this may be a reason as to why you may not want to attend.  So, as a committee, we have come up with a variety of contests for each month that will give you a chance to purchase your ticket at a lower price, or at the original price for a limited time.  We will also have package deals available!  So, we do ask that you please watch the website weekly for the next contest!  All posts will be done on Saturdays or Sundays, just to give you a hint! :)

TICKETS!!!!!!

Hey everyone!!  Well, it is ticket time!!  So, we are going to do a contest to jump start our ticket sales!  We will be doing various contests before the reunion to keep everyone involved and... the best part... give away free stuff! Which I know we all like!  So, the first contest is with the ticket sales!

Contest:  
The first 50 TICKETS sold will receive a prize valued at $10!

Terms of Contest:  
Tickets may be purchased as a pair or individual.  You my pay by credit card on the website or check by mail.  To pay by mail, email Jeanette for the mailing address, which in turn will help keep track of our contest.  Prizes will be given at the reunion, but a list of winners will be placed on the website for all to see! Contest will end Sunday, March 4th at Midnight.

So, we've tried to make the website user friendly!  To buy tickets, go to the top right of the page.  Select the type of ticket you want to buy.  Type in the name of the person who the ticket is for.  Click "Add to Cart".  Another window will pop up with your item in the basket.  Go back to our page and change the information for your next ticket. Ticket will be added to your already open window basket.  When you are ready to checkout, go to the open window and click on "Checkout".  It will then take you to Paypal.  If you do not already have a Paypal account you can create one there OR you can click "Don't Have a Paypal Account".  If you are going through Paypal, once you are logged in, you can pay there.  To receive your tickets, please enter in your email address in the "Email Address and Other Notes". If you are not using Paypal, it will allow you to enter your payment information.  Once you have paid, a receipt will be available.  Please allow 1-3 days for tickets to be emailed to you. 

We will not be sending formal tickets to help save on costs, but will be emailing them out.  You can print out your ticket, but for those of you who might forget your ticket, will be having a list of those who have bought tickets at the reunion.  So, don't worry, we'll still let you in! Lol!

So, keep in mind that if you buy your ticket now, it will only be $15.00!!!  If you have any other questions, feel free to email Amy or Jeanette!  So...... Contest starts.... NOW!  Good luck to everyone!

Date Update!!

Alright!  Well, it's time for an update!  We have finally picked a date for the reunion to be held!  We are going to be having it on Saturday, July 21st from 6-10pm.  As for the venue, that information will be soon!  We do have a place picked out, but we are just working on a few little details!

As for tickets, we have decided on a price as well for those too!  Now, as much as I would love this to be a free event, it just isn't going to happen!  Seeing how this is our first event, we don't have much of a funding basis!  As for the price, it will be $25.00 per person.  You may bring a plus one!  Now, with this, we do have a few things... tickets will hopefully go on sale within a week!  The sooner you buy them, the cheaper they will be!  This is an incentive to you to buy them early, but it also helps us be able to buy things sooner!

As for the kind of event we are having, it will be a semi-formal.  Basically, you can wear what you want! Lol!  We will be having a wonderful dinner, activities, light entertainment provided, memories, and much, much more!!  It's not something you will want to miss out on!! So make sure to tell your friends!!

Now, we do have a couple of things that I need your help with!...
1.  We are still missing quite a few of our classmates!  So, please help us get in contact with them!  If they do not have a Facebook account, have them email myself or Jennee Frampton/Reisewitz!
2.  I hate to bring this up, but it does need to be!  If you know anyone who has passed on from this life, please let me know!
3.  If you are coming from out of town and will need a hotel room, please contact myself!  I have arrangements available for those who need them!
4.  We are looking for pictures of all of you from high school!  If you have any that you would love to share with us, please email them to pghs.class.of.2002@gmail.com
5.  If you own a business, please let us know!  I will explain at the time of contact!

Well, other than those few things, I think we are on our way to a night of fun and memories!!  I am getting really excited to see you all again! I hope you are all doing well!!  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me or anyone on the committee!
